Witness statement
I saw several lights in a line, white or silver, about as bright as a bright star. It was high or overhead to the west. Moving smoothly at a steady speed zig-zagging or turning sharply. I watched it for a few minutes. Light: steady, constant light. Sound: silent. It ended: went out of sight behind something or the horizon.
Analysis
The observation of white or silver lights in a line, moving smoothly at a steady speed zig-zagging or turning sharply, is difficult to explain. The witness statement suggests a high-altitude object, but the weather conditions and astronomical data do not provide a clear explanation.
